These No Bake Bars are BY far the best things I’ve ever made!!!

If you like peanut butter, coconut, nuts and chocolate, then there’s NO WAY you won’t fall instantly in love with these.   Best thing…. they take 10 min to make!!

Here’s the thing though … I’ve discovered when using organic chocolate bars vs the packaged processed chips with HFCS, the chocolate will melt in your hands as you eat them.

I solve this by cutting them in small pieces (not like the ones in the picture above, that was BEFORE I discovered how quickly they melt) but almost bite size.  And then I freeze them.

They thaw in no time at all!  and bitesize rocks, don’t you agree?

No Bake Bars

Ingredients

  • 1 cup natural peanut butter, not processed (I use Smuckers Natural)
  • 1/2 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup coconut oil
  • 2 cups dry oats (not instant but the 5 min oats)
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 1/2 cup chopped wanuts
  • 1 dark chocolate organic chocolate bar (I use Green & Black’s)
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Melt the peanut butter, honey and coconut oil in a saucepan over low-medium heat
  2. Remove the pan from the heat once everything has melted
  3. Chop up the chocolate bar into small pieces and add the oats, coconut, chocolate and vanilla
  4. Stir until the chocolate is completely melted
  5. Pour into a 9 x 9 glass pan and put in the fridge
  6. When set cut into bars

  4. Hi i wanted to ask how big is the chocolate bar. I don’t think I have seen that brand in my area so will have to go with a different brand so would like to make sure I get the right size. Can’t wait to try them. Look forward to hearing back from you.

    • Josie, I added some links from Amazon for the harder to find items. It’s just a regular size organic chocolate bar, just be sure to use a high cocoa % as there is less sugar in them.

  5. This sounds like a great recipe to try for my husband! The only thing is we don’t like coconut; do you think leaving it out would change the texture too much? Should we add more of one of the other ingredients. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
