Pumpkin Pie Spice Smoothie

pumpkinpie4

I’ve been requested to put more delicious smoothies on my website ~ more specifically, LESS green smoothies and MORE milk or yogurt based smoothies!  So here you all go!

I know pumpkin season may officially be over according to the calendar, but I have to tell you, it’s NEVER over in my house!  I can’t get enough of this deliciousness.

This recipe calls for a frozen banana.  I never, and I mean NEVER throw away old bananas.  I freeze them.  Peel them, cut them up, put them in a Ziploc and freeze.  They come in so handy. If you’ve never done so, I encourage you to try freezing a few bananas for your next smoothie.

If you don’t have any frozen bananas, or don’t want to wait for one to freeze, no problem.  Just add a regular banana and a few ice cubes.  It’ll work out just fine!

But this is a very light pumpkin flavored smoothie that is a great start to your day or after a workout!
