Whether you prefer your French toast in the morning or for dinner, this recipe is sure to fit the bill
Ingredients

- 4 slices of bread (we recommend using brioche or challah for extra flavor and fluffiness)
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup of milk
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. of sugar (optional, for added sweetness)
- Butter or cooking spray for frying
Instructions
- If the bread does not come pre-sliced, slice it into thick even slices. Set aside
- Whisk the eggs, milk, vanilla, cinnamon and sugar in a shallow bowl.
- Heat a skillet over medium high heat and spray with cooking spray or a pat of butter.
- Dip the bread into the egg mixture and allow it to soak for 20 seconds.
- Place it on to the skillet – flip when it turns golden brown and cook the other side.
- Serve with butter, syrup, whipped cream, berries or your choice of meat.
