Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 bunch Fresh Asparagus Spears, ends peeled or removed where they naturally break
  • 2 Tablespoons Olive Oil
  • 1 Tablespoon Minced Garlic
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 Cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese

Instructions

  1. Prep the Asparagus – Preheat your oven to 400°F. Rinse the asparagus and trim off the tough ends—either snap them where they naturally break or cut about an inch off the bottom. Pat them dry with a paper towel.

  2. Season – Place the asparagus on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, then sprinkle the minced garlic, salt, and pepper over the top. Use your hands or tongs to toss everything together, making sure the spears are evenly coated. Spread them out in a single layer for even roasting.

  3. Roast – Pop the tray into the oven and roast for 10-12 minutes, or until the asparagus is tender and slightly crisp on the edges.

  4. Add the Cheese – Remove the baking sheet from the oven and sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the asparagus. Return to the oven for another 2-4 minutes, just until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  5. Serve – Transfer to a serving dish and enjoy right away. For extra flavor, try adding a squeeze of fresh lemon juice or a sprinkle of Parmesan before serving.
