Description
A healthier version of the classic chocolate chip muffin with less sugar and extra large, just like the bakery.
Ingredients
Scale
- 2 Cups Flour

- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons Baking powder ( I use Hains which has no salt)
- 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
- 1/2 Cup Unsalted Butter, melted
- 2 Eggs, lightly beaten
- 1/2 Cup Milk
- 1 Cup Chocolate chips, semi-sweet, milk or mini
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375° F. Line a large muffin tin with 6 paper liners. Set aside.
- Whisk together dry ingredients (flour, sugar, baking powder/soda and salt). Give it a good whisk.
- Mix the melted butter, milk, eggs and vanilla. Pour this into the dry ingredients and fold until combined, but don’t over mix.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Fill each muffin tin to the top and bake for 25 minutes.
