Celebrate the holidays with this easy orange pecan cake. Besides the taste, the best part about it is it can be put together in under an hour. It’s super delicious and will quickly become your new holiday tradition!

Nothing says holidays more than a yummy cake, especially a bundt cake. Its shape resembles a wreath and it can be used to make a table full of food visually appealing.
Once you see how easy it is to make, you’ll be making this cake for more than just the Christmas season.
What makes a bundt cake so special?
Believe it or not, there’s really no big difference between a regular cake and a bundt cake – except the shape. And it’s the shape that makes the bundt cake so special. The doughnut-like shape with added grooves gives the cake a pretty look that when decorated, can get quite immaculate.

How to Make A Simple Easy Orange Pecan Cake
Prepare the oven and pan.
As with any baking, you want to start with pre-heating your oven. We don’t want to cook the cake too quickly, so set the temperature to 350° F. In the meantime, grease a bundt cake pan with butter and dust with some flour. This step is important in order for the cake to lift effortlessly out of the pan.
Mix the wet ingredients + sugar.
In a medium-sized bowl, mix the oil with sugar until they are combined. Then, add the almond milk, orange juice, and vanilla extract. Whisk it all together until the ingredients have combined.
Incorporate dry ingredients.
Once the wet ingredients have been mixed together, ad the remaining ingredients: flour, ground cinnamon, salt, baking soda, baking powder, and orange zest. After this has been mixed together, fold in the chopped pecan nuts.
Bake
Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Shake the pan to the sides and onto the counter for an even batter distribution and baking. Bake the orange pecan cake for 40 to 50 minutes until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
Let the cake cool for 10 minutes before turning it upside down and removing it from the pan. When you’re ready to serve it, take another large plate and flip the cake right side up again. Then, pour the orange glaze over it. Slice and enjoy!
How to Make the Glaze
Combine the powdered sugar with the orange juice. You will be able to adjust the consistency of the glaze to your liking by adding more powdered sugar or juice to make it thinner or thicker.

What to Serve with Orange Pecan Cake
Although we’re dressing this particular bundt cake with a homemade orange glaze, chopped pecans, and a few sprinkles of orange zest, there are many other things you can serve with this cake.
For starters, go for a nice scoop of ice cream. Even in the crisp cold temperatures, you can’t go wrong with pairing this moist cake with a scoop of vanilla or pecan vanilla ice cream. You can also keep a can of cool whip next to the cake to give your guests the option to add a swirl or two.
Last but not least, serving your cake next to a bowl of fruit will add an extra healthy option. The best fruits to serve during the winter are oranges, bananas, cranberries, and pineapples.
