What You’ll Need to Make Air Fryer Cheeseburgers
Ground Beef
Most people may not think about it, but there are many different types of ground beef to choose from. Overall, the difference lies between the ratio of fat and what part of the cow the meat is coming from. The leaner the meat, the less fat you’ll have. Here’s a quick chart to help you choose the best meat for your cheeseburgers:
- Ground Beef (70% lean/30% fat)
- Ground Chuck (80% lean/20% fat)
- Ground Round (85% lean/15% fat)
- Ground Sirloin (90% lean/10% fat)
If you’re looking for the lightest and healthiest beef, go with the ground round or sirloin.
Worcestershire or Steak sauce
Worcestershire sauce is going to give you four tastes in one: tangy, savory, sweet, and salty. Some people don’t like it by itself, but when added to a meat like ground beef, it’s definitely a flavor popper. Steak sauce can be used in replacement of Worcestershire because it adds a similar flavor.
Common Seasonings
Salt, pepper, and garlic powder – seasoning staples – are used to enhance the flavor of these air fryer cheeseburgers. Although I have a measurement suggestion in the recipe below, add more or less according to your personal preference.
Cheddar Cheese
Of course, this is what’s gonna make your burgers cheeseburgers. Consider switching it up by adding Pepper Jack or Mozzarella.
